Registering for Level II

I did yesterday and got a message that I was still a candidate for level I
 
Regardless of how well you did, wouldn't you wait a day/week until the results come out before registering?
 
Why? if you already know that your going to take level 2, then why wait if you can register.
 
This is the game.

between now and when results are released people who took L1 and L2 will go online each morning and try to register for the next level (you don't have to complete the process) because in the past, that has been the first way you could find out if you passed, before the e-mails came out. Traffic on CFAI will get continously worse daily between 10am-2pm eastern until results come out.
 
Because the results aren't out yet! Houston, I like your confidence, but there's a good chance we all don't pass from this forum.
 
Hob, if you can register for level 2, prior to knowing your actual scores, that means you've passed L1.

If you go to the website, and it doesn't let you register, that means your still a level 1 candidate (scores aren't out). However, if you can register, and the scores are not posted, that means you've passed L1, but the scores aren't up yet.
