Just venting a little - on the one hand I can see how it’s a good thing, b/c it implicitly implies important concepts and even reinforces them. That being said, surely there’s other means to do this (emphasize importance) than include the same information 8 different times throughout the curriculum.
This is nothing new; I found this in Level 2 a lot too. But it’s just a bit frustrating b/c of the sheer volume of material to get through and 20% of it is simply regurgited, but not in a way you can really avoid going over it again (sporadically dispersed in readings).
Anyone else find it a little nauseating?

just tells you - here are the various many ways the same topic can be tested …
the more number of times it appears - the more number of ways it can be tested.
and there are multiple pitfalls at each place - and you can end up writing one thing for another..
so stop venting and pay attention.

Totally see it a different way and I feel like you left out the truly important “good thing”. Less brand new stuff to learn. If you covered it well in L2, then it should be almost skippable or just requiring a light refresher at this point. Felt the same way about L1 material in L2.
If you’re complaining about the sheer volume of material, surely having some of it already be familiar to you can only cut down on the task at hand.

As I mentioned in OP, it’s often sporadically intertwined in readings, making it hard to outright skip over or skim by. I get your concept, but I’m the type that doesn’t like to leave any stones unturned, and so I’ll go over all required readings in case. You’re right that it doesn’t require a deeper brain-use to read over again b/c it’s not new or requires learning, but just the sheer time in reading over all regurgitated material, which is a lot, adds up.

I will exercise my right to vent, when need be :)
I am paying attention, “baleedat”.

Another interesting observation I just found, is that in about 100+ occasions thus far in my reading, the curriculum has made a point to always say “his or her”, ie. be all inclusive… but in the tactical asset allocation section they’ve seemed to have had enough of all that “the investor’s short term views may well differ from his long term views”… lol. When immersed in this every day sometimes it’s the little things that catch your interest/attention..

I guess it’s there to test your sharpness, memory, logic, and how well you classify, organize, the information. Wait a minute, is that an IQ test?
