Frank, you're trying to break into trading? I thought you were trying to get into research. I think with your strong test credentials it may be an easier task than trading (which requires good schools +networking).

N.Van

The job is not in TO, and I just graduated with a BBA, Finance profile. L2 Candidate (June 08) and got two revelant internships (corp fin at Big4 accounting, budget process evaluation at insurance company). Also had a strong academics record

stern, i'm not giong into trading nor am I looking to. i was just trying to salvage whatever i can salvage with this role. its going to be a long night.

alayle, did you graduate from a school in ontario?

Thanks, will do

This is an opportunity I've been looking for quite some time now. I really liked the people I will be working with (whom I met in interviews) and it is a good starting point to get my foot in the door of a major Bank. Considering that Equity Research jobs in MTL are few and far between, Im happy about it. Most (in fact, pretty much all) of my friends who graduated at the same time than me (5 months ago) can't say the same about the job they got.

Grats on the job. You are correct that there are not too many ER jobs in MTL.

Can you shed some light on which shop it is? Looks like I need to start quizzing people on this mysterious position..

Nope sorry, won't happen

Well maybe a couple of years down the road hehe

Sorry, didn't mean to sound rude
I just do not want to spread the word out there even before I worked a single day in this new environment.

If you're really curious, write down your email and I will contact you ..
Are you in MTL Aerius ?
