I really hope this is the last results e-mail I ever have to worry about…good luck to all!
 
I hate that email! ”Important information about your CFA Exam Result” Surely I’m not the only one whose stomach dropped just a little bit when seeing that. I knew it was coming and I know I have to wait until August, but that subject line still made me nervous.

+1, got it just now., and I was waiting for it for the past 1 hr with my inbox open as if the results were coming!! For a moment I thought I was under PCP until my friend told me he too hadn’t received it
everything related to the cfa makes me so damn nervous these days!! the post exam survey email made me feel the same

Disagree…. at least since its during the work day I am busy doing other things already. If it were a weekend it would be harder to do fun things on that day b/c would be distracted.
 
At least the CFAI is kind enough not to release the results on Monday. I was on vacation last year when I got my L3 Band 10 result. It would have hurt a lot more if I had been sitting at my desk on a Monday morning and received the B10.
 
I decieded today I’m taking the day off. I plan on going for a long long long run regardless of the result. I dont think it will be smart to be at work either way. I’ve never done this for previous results.

I support this opinion. I always received the results in the office, work offered distraction.
This year I´ll be on a cruise in the Mediterranean, had to plan my vacation really early. Hope the emailing via Blacky works…
 
Same here, working day is way better.. Definitely dont want to spoil my weekend at all.
 
Same here. I’ll get the email around 4 pm. Get pissed, leave early .. woo..

i can’t stand receiving results on a work day, the added pressure of others in the office receiving results as well as everyone asking how you did

I’m the only L3 candidate in my office - July 29th (L1/L2 results day) will be a frustrating day for me.
 
I made the decision not to mention when the results were coming out this year as last year the desk became a bit of a circus on results day with the entire team waiting for my phone to beep, which it didn’t until 4 hours after when the results are officially released.
literally about an hour after the email confirming the 12th came out some level 1 candidate swung by to tell me that the level 3 results would be out on the 12th…
 
I’ve booked the day off, I cannot focus properly in the morning before the reulsts arrive and frankly I can’t just sit at my desk and just refresh my email and AF.
 
The most irritating part for me is not being in office or holiday. Its for us to check if each email is from CFAI right after 9 AM. Thats crazy as hell and irritating stuff to keep checking your gmail and AF to see who has got results, how many percentage passed etc….
 
Already put a ghost meeting in my calendar from 3-5pm exam results day. Will be sitting in a dark corner of a bar somewhere probably on my 3rd drink when the results email arrives.
Pass or fail the hangover the following day will be epic.

LOL. Have planned a beer session at a bar with two other study mates. Will gulp down half a dozen beers before clicking open that email. Should considering moving into a dark corner as well :P
