I wonder if CFAI applies the same test at all test centers?

so to select an easier country as a test center could be an advantage...
i am living in Turkey and planning to take Level I in London since December exams are not held in Turkey. So india moscow or south africa might be easier than to take the exam in London Canada or USA ... i will think about it
thanks

Sorry...but honestly, I have never heard that different tests of the same level are being administered in different locations.

Maybe people in Singapore (12 hours difference between Montreal and Singapore) might benefit from some information about the test shared by some crazy Canadians/Americans or Europeans. Otherwise, if it can be done, then those tests administered on the next day (for Singapore, Far East and Australia, if I am not mistaken) must be different...that I don't know and I don't care...

Well, anyway I wouldn't benefit that much from this information, given that I haven't been preparing myself for test before and I live in Singapore or wherever the test takes place on the second day

It would seem that the exams given in Asia and Europe would be a different than the ones given in the US or Canada for a particular level.

When we came and spoke after the exam (btw, this website is closed for about 24 hours after the test) on this forum about the exam, most of the questions appeared to be the same for all of us from different regions.

I would agree, but most of us here are from Canada and the US, but I would only imagine minor differences at best.

They are all the same. One of the fun games grading the exams is the "Guess where this packet came from" game. It's really easy to pick out the packets from Asia. If you learn to write by making strokes your English writing is also nearly done in strokes.

I'm sure that some of that cheating (having your buddy call you with 12 hours left to prepare happens). I'll bet it doesn't help nearly as much as the cheaters are hoping it does.

i heard the galapgos and antartica have easier test that have less questions.... im registerd to take it in an igloo right now

good luck to u deucefranchise... keep your precious parts of your body from cold there...

I heard that its different even in different States withinin the U.S. For example, candidates taking the exam in Alabama get an easier version that those taking it in New York. If you believe that your best chance of passing it is to take it in a place where they get an easier version, I suggest that you better start moving. Good luck. But don't come looking for a job in my company.

I just finished the LIII exam. From my understanding, and this is just what I heard, but for all of the exams, the same questions are on the exam, however CFAI takes measures to prevent cheating such as switching the order in which the questions are asked.

But I think it would be unfair to assume that certain regions or countries have an "easier" exam.

In Rand McNally the exams are upsidedown and hamburgers eat people.

hehehehe
