by "mock" are you referring to the sample exam provided by CFAI when registering or is that something in addition to that? Thanks.
 
that pdf is available on the cfa mock exam website. if you didnt take the mock exam then it wont help you because it just basically says the answer without the question.
 
CFAI provide you with only 1 free sample, the rest 2 samples ans 2 mock exams you have to purchase.

80% overall, 1 hour to spare

only corp finance and equities were under 75%

i'm surprised to have done so well because it felt brutal as i was solving the problems
 
you mean you finished within 2 hours to get 80%? that's amazing.

Is it possible to register now and take the exam whenever we want? And can we go thru the QP and answers after completing the test?

Is it downloadable?
 
I am confused. There are 3 sample exams. One is free.

And then you can buy 2 mocks for 100bucks?

What are the differences between sample and mock. Samples cost slightly less but they have 60 question for 120min test where as samples have 120Q for $100bucks.

When you buy 2 mocks for 100bucks, do you get 240Qs or 120Qs?

Overall 73 (required and recommended scores were 70%)

Corp Finance 100
Equity 43
Derivative 100

Fixed Income 100
Portfolio 100

Econ score was really a surprise... There were about 4 questions in econ and FSA that I should have known to answer but the wording of the question just tricked me or I picked the wrong thing... Hopefully I don't make those kind of dumb mistakes in the real exam.

Have CFAI specified the "required and recommended score" somewhere in the mock paper or are you talking about the standard 70% benchmark which all are trying to cross?
 
Just did my first mock today 2.5 hours

Overall 79
ethics 89
quant 100
econ 58
fsa 83
corp fin 70
equity 92
deriv 67
fixed inc 67
alt inv 67
port mgmt 67

I think I can improve a couple of these areas such as the last 4 sections where i got 67's. econ is my achilles heel.
 
I dont know, it said below my 70% that the "required and recommended" scores were 70% respectively.

I am in the same position as you sharpshooter, I got done with plenty of time left and I got a decent score, however, I am still not as confident as I would like to be.
