Schweser uses this SAMURAI term to help remember the properties of a valid benchmark, with the second A referring to Accountability. However, CFAI doesn’t use SAMURAI, and in place of Accountability, they actually have the term Owned. Since this appears to be highly testable, on the exam, should we use Owned instead of Accountability (despite the two terms having the same meaning)

So rule of thumb if asked in a constructed response question, go with Owned instead of Accountable?

ownership and accountability are interchangable. in regards to the benchmark, you take ownership for understanding it, explaining deltas in returns to your ptf, it’s composition etc. which technically is the same as being accountable for the above items. don’t worry, I highly doubt CFAI will take marks away for this, there will be many other sections for that!
remember you probably won’t just have to list the samurai, but probably need to EXPLAIN a couple of the letters or it’s framework, so just be able to explain what it means
