I spoke with a cust rep Schweser yesterday and she said that new 2007 pre level 1 book will be coming out this November (Stalla doesn't have one).
Has anyone ever used previous editions of pre level 1 text before? I'm thinking of buying one. I thought it'd be a good idea to get familiarized with topics before going right into level 1. I've been out of school for a while and my acctg/ finance knowledge got little rusty over the years.
I think Stalla and Schweser are both great programs. But I saw some posts here that Schweser is really good if you already have background in finance.
I'm wondering since I don't have finance background, am I better off with Stalla?
I work as an accountant in a foreign currency trading firm. I do some reporting, month end closings and other acct'g crap. But those aren't real finance work.
Just how knowledgeble or experienced in finance you have to be in order to feel comfortable with Schweser program?
