Scheweser 2017 for level 3 will still take a month to release. Would want to know if i could use 2016 schweser for 2017 exams ?
 
Schweser 2017 has already been released, I purchased it on 27th July and in my Bookshelf is stated those are 2017 Schweser notes (not 2016). I had also received e-mail from Kaplan, inc that was released the day after L2 results revealing.
 
That said the only change is in reading 12 from 2016 to 2017, so there shouldn’t be any issue with using Schweser 2016 for studying until you have received/have the money to purchase 2017.
I’ll be using my books from 2016 and my hard copies of the CFA text from 2016 and then supplementing with the Schweser 3 day review course and the electronic copy of the official text for reading 12.
The only thing I will miss is the question bank, and I’m wondering whether to purchase some of the 2017 mocks. I assume that these will differ from the 2016 Schweser mocks, but can anyone confirm? I don’t want to purchase them to end up with the same data.
