schweser 3-day live seminar

I searched, but could not find any good threads on the seminar.

I am considering the 3-day seminar in Atlanta.

Are the live seminars worth it if you feel pretty good about the main concepts? I don't want to go to one if they are going to waste my time explaining the basics again. I failed level 2 last year and have been studying since, but if there is an edge I can gain from this, then I want to do it.
 
I'm going to one this weekend since it is free for me. I'm not sure how worthwhile it is. They cover stuff really fast so one must have had a prior exposure since alot of it is brief review. If it were not free, I would not have paid for it.

Schweser video's are better imo.
 
KJH - I'm heading over to LAX for the free Schweser classes too. Do you think they are more productive than spending a weekend at home studying? I didn't go to the first one so I'm not sure what to expect.

I think they are alot more productive than studying alone. They really pull you through it fast though which is good and bad. I don't know about you, but I have yet to pull a focused 8 hour study session and these classes force it on you which is good.

My advice is to get as familiar as possible with the topics they are presenting this weekend to get maximum benefit.

Which level are you preparing for?
 
Yeah I haven't pulled an 8-hour study session either. If I stay at home the wife will probably try and get me to do yardwork.

I am thinking of attending this Seminar for level 2, but not sure how good is O. Nathan Ronen (The assigned instructor for lvl 2 in Toronto). Have you heard of him before? Is he really effecient in terms of explaning the concept? or just simply reading off from the powerpoint.

Can anyone provide some inside if you took his course before?

haha...I hear ya with the yardwork...you can't wait for spring........until it gets here and fosters work.
