schweser discount 20% through local society?

Has anyone taken advatange of the discount throught their local society before?
Through Schweser web site i found an area that listed all the societies that had some type of discount or program with schweser. I have seen ones for 20% but i’m part of Washington DC and just sent them an email but haven’t got a response yet.
Anyone know how this normally works? If I get 20% off I really wish I knew about this 2 years ago.

you would need to pay 50$ to join the society as a student member and then get the 20% off the package you purchase.

call the cfa wash dc society. they send you a form to fill up for the student membership
and you can later use that information for the schweser discount.
