Schweser Gift Mug for Passing

I got an email this morning asking if I passed, and if so, to forward my results email to get a free mug. Did anyone else get this? I’m assuming it’s an incentive thrown in to help them get a tally of their pass statistics.
I’m wondering if there’s anything wrong with forwarding them my pass email from CFAI or if I should take any precautions/erase anything before doing so?
 
the instructions are:

Claiming your free gift couldn’t be easier!
1. Forward your CFA Institute Results email to [email protected] as proof that you passed.
2. Include “I Passed Level III” in the subject line.
3. Include your name and U.S. mailing address.
4. We’ll respond with a very nice ceramic coffee mug that tells
the world you passed the Level III CFA exam.
 
I don’t feel like I’m missing out at all. That thing is f-ugly.
 
really? I think it’s a nice gesture and god knows I paid enough over the years for their products! I am looking forward to getting my mug.

What I want to know is how this will declare to the world that I passed CFA Level 3. All I see is a promotional mug with the Kaplan logo.
I don’t know about you, but I want my mug to feature some obscenely pompous message about my superior ability to do analysis now that I passed all 3 exams so I can carry it with me and take really long sips during meetings.
I think a trip to cafepress is in order…
 
You think Schweser will tell if I didn’t buy their materials but submitted anyways…? I like free stuff
 
I didn’t receive a message… but keep in mind under your account settings you can toggle off/on receiving promotional emails. I have it off, so I would imagine that is the disparity in who got it.

Just received mine a week ago and it’s a beautiful piece. It also has the “I passed the Level III of the CFA exam” kind of a dialogue along with their Kaplan logo. Feels good, especially after being awarded the CFA charter today.

Great. Money from foreign customers is welcome but don’t count on gifts. I’m glad I used second hand materials, not paying Kaplan a penny.
 
yay! mug arrived in the mail today. it came with a very nice note as well:

I think it’s really nice of Schweser to do this, they didn’t have to do anything at all. Particularly when there’s no bonus or anything from work, I do appreciate this mug and note, which was much nicer than I got from my boss! They are right, they really do understand better than most what this means, so thank you schweser! Couldn’t have done it without you.
HAHAA the mug comes with a disclaimer sticker from the CFAI basically stating that possession of the mug does not imply superior analysis skills.
