Schweser Mock Exam Score............

So i spent the full day taking the Schweser Mock volume 2, exam 3.
Morning: 67.5
Afternoon: 76.67.
I believe that i am once again playing with fire and on the brink of pass/fail. These last few days will be intense studying…. other than thanksgiving.
I am doing what i told myself i shouldnt be doing and that is not studying econ. I am saving that section for last and guessing. I AM A TERRIBLE guesser. I’m going through just the morning now… but out of 12 econ questions.. i got 12 WRONG. Am i better off just sticking with A, B, or C and filling them all the same? I haven’t looked at the afternoon yet.
Any advice would be great!

A test taking book I read once said that if you weren’t willing to bet $5 dollars on an answer do not eliminate it, and do not random guess. It basically said read a question, and get rid of any answer you can, and then have a guessing pattern, i.e. always guess the next choice after the answer you eliminated or always guess the first letter choice remaining that way you have a system. I have used this system in the past and I must say it has helped me. So I would say try and select a guessing system you are going to use, like if you can cross off a as the answer pick b, if you cross of b pick c, and if you cross of c pick a. It should help you at least get 1 or two points in econ. If you can’t cross off answers then select a letter and pick that everytime.
 
it’s highly unlikely that you will know after how well you guess on the actual exam, unless you guess every single question in a particular section, then you can tell… ^_^
So don’t worry about it, just do your best, you still have a week and your scores seem very consistent with other candidates, and you are not in bad shape at all!
just re-do the exams (book 1 maybe?) and try to get the best out of them!
 
Crap, I’m currently in the 60-s range on all Kaplan practice exam sets. I’m far worst off than you are lol

You still have over a week, and this is the time when you STOP COMING TO THE FORUM AND START FOCUSING!!!

12 guesses wrong out of 12 means that you got tricked by the distractors. There’s less than 1% chance that this happens! Find out why you got tricked, it should help.
 
im just a TERRIBLE Guesser. Right now the plan is probably go with A, for ALL ECON questions…………
 
maybe pick what you would normally guess, then pick a different answer??
 
Really this is not a bad score.
And Always try to make sure that you have spent allowable time on each topic, This time is not for learning the new concepts try to practice as much as you can.
 
There’s still time to review and improve your score… so i wouldn’t worry about it…
 
don’t worry about it,you should focus on reviewing at last time.
when face the econ questions you don’t know how to select ,you
may select the same letter on all questions„such as A,or B,C.
then you may get the right proportion approximately equal to 25%
