Guys if you’ll are giving the mocks can we keep a track on how everybody is scoring to get an idea about where we stand?
I’ll start.
1st Mock : 184/240
2nd Mock : 180/240

In my opition, most people who will post their scores are those who generally get higher ones anyways. Therefore whatever statistics you get won’t be accurate (survivorship bias).
I know ppl who did well on the mocks generally succeed in the exam; I also know some ppl who got below 60% in the mocks also passed the exam.
Therefore, in my opinion, there is not point to know how much other ppl get in their mocks.

But just for the sake of it, I got 180/240 in CFAI mock last weekend.
I will do 2 more Schweser mocks this weekend and the following.
I wanna target a 80%!
But still, there is no point of comparig here. The point is to practice practice and practice and to get the most out of yourself.

But I am curious to know whoevere did well on the mocks exams (above 70%, or 75%, or even 80%?!), what are your studies plan for the next 2 weeks?

So far I have taken the three Schweser mocks and scored an 83%, 80% and 82%. I am going to take the CFAI mock this weekend to provide a more accurate barometer of where I stand. From there I plan to focus on my weak areas (qbank, EOCs, sample exams, ect), read ethics a few more times and commit any outstanding formulas to memory.

You sure you will have time to read ethics a few more times in 2 weeks?

I am hoping so. I should have clarified a little more, I will only be doing qbank, EOCs, sample exams to the extend that is required to really master any area that I am currently weak in. I also took off the last week before the exam so my hope is that will give me enough time.

Not survivorship bias, self-selection bias :P

Yeah exactly! :)

The performance tracker on the schweser web interface is a pretty good tool for benchmarking yourself against other candidates. From around 2000 mocks that have been completed it looks like the average score is 70%. You also get a break down by topic area so you can see where you’re lacking compared to your peers.
