Hi all
jusy wondering what do ye think if i just studied the schweser secret sauce and do q bank questions for cfa level one as I feel that I don’t have enough time to ready the full texts. Would the secret sauce be enough in addition to questions or would elan 12th hour be better? Any advice takerhanks

I don’t know. If it’s level one, why not wait till december? you’d have enough time to study thoroughly.

I’d really like to pass this June though.

Well, I’m a first timer too, don’t know how it works. I wish us the best. Lol.

I don’t think that’s going to fly all that well. Using secret sauce means you’re using a summarized version of an already summarized information. That means lots of concepts missing. Are you just starting now to prepare for June? That might be tough, but I’m sure people have done it before. Just have to dedicate every single minute of free time to studying.

Using Schweser exclusively will probably only work if you’re already a finance master that is quite comfortable with all the topics. The key is the CFAI EOC questions and the CFAI mock. If you understand how to solve all the EOC questions and you can score above 70% on the CFAI mock exam, then you should be good to go.
If you struggle on EOCs and/or score below 70% on the CFAI mock, then you may not pass.

You need to find time to fit in a lot of mock exams as well not just q bank questions.

Secret sauce only is not enough. Using secret sauce after you read CFAI volumes or perhaps Schweser notes is excellent review tool. Maybe it makes sense for you to focus on EOC now and fill the gaps from the curriculum.
