Is it ok to use 2005 schweser set to study for the Dec 2006 exam writing?

cross_over, you have a ton of questions, and for none of them can anyone give you a definitive answer, b/c only you know your current grasp of the overall material.

Some of the LOS's did change from 2005, specifically the ethics book was updated, you should print a copy of that from the website.

You can get away with the old notes, it's not highly recommended, but as long as you figure out the updates, you should be ok with the '05 notes.

I am currently a chartered accountant in Canada � not the US. I am very - very nervous about the exam, to say the least! It is nice to have all these good people from around the world to help - the internet is grand. My plan of attack is outlined, please discuss and advise:

My grasp:

Well it has both it's ups and downs, however, my will to get there is measurable.

My focus:

It is to ensure that I understand everything in a very short time period, and then start testing and reviewing.

To learn from peers around the world - this is a call for help!

My pitfalls:

Technical I never heard of. The really wacky kinda stuff like, what is the belly-button of a shark say to a raccoon in the chi - square things?! - you know that one?

What's help you might ask:

Work hard, and do better again in June, 07.

If you're a CA, you're laughing...FSA is a huge chunk of level one, concentrate on learning the other material, 20-25 hours a week starting now, till December 1 should be adequate.
