Schweser practice mock exams vs CFA mock exam

Hey fellow candidats,
I was wondering of anyone one of you had the chance to practice the schweser 1-2-3 exams?
I was doing them and frankly speaking, I found them pretty hard. I would average 60%-65%.
But while doing the CFA official mocks, I find them relatively easy compared to the schewesers.
anyone experienced the same thing?
Is schweser a good way to practice for the exam?

I feel the same . I am using Schweser practise exams (2009). Looks like they try to frame a question out of every hidden line in the curriculum which i find difficult to remember . I was able to score 55 % . This was the first test i appeared .
Isnt it the best place to practise questions .
 
Same is the case here. Have been getting between 60-70% in schweser practice exams while in mock (which was the first exam I gave) I got 73%.
 
In the Schweser practice tests, I have been scoring in the range of 65-75 %
I wrote the CFAI mock yesterday for a score of 80 in the Morning Session & 73 in the Afternoon one.
 
So is it a general observation . I will give the CFAI mock exam this week . Lets see how it goes.

Yeah, I had the same feeling about how the CFAI was easier vs Schweser, especially while solving the Morning Session.
 
Does the result depends on where you are preparing from . Like i have always used CFA curriculum books and this was the first attempt to anything related to schweiser . I mean its like you study from stalla but appear for schweiser . Will there be a slightest difference . ?
 
I haven’t written the CFAI mock yet so I can’t really comment. I have noticed by the afternoon sessions I am struggling to remember things that I plowed through in the afternoon sessions.
 
I scored a 78% on my 1st Schweser Practice Exam and a 75% on my 1st Elan Mock.
Still have some topics to work on, especially FRA (diff. USGAAP, IFRS), will work on that and hit the CFA Mock on Friday.
 
So do you guys think the schweser is a good way to practice for the exam?
Have anyone of you tried the boston exam?
 
Schweser Practice exams are a good way to practice.
However I feel that the Elan Mocks are a bit better. After you go through Elan 1 and 2 you can give a shot at Mock 3. I feel it’s much harder than the actual exam but the good thing is that it tests concepts in depth. So I would at least go over the questions and read the answers.
After you have done that, Schweser Practice exams feel like a breeze :)
 
I have the boston exam from a previous year and its very good. I think its a tad harder then the CFAI but not as calculation comprehensive at the schweser exams.
