Schweser qbank vs. CFA sample questions and mock exams

After going thru some of the posts on this forum, I feel that schweser Qbank does not represent the true format of actual CFA exam. As I understand, schweser’s emphasis is more on numericals involving complicated math whereas actual exam tests conceptual foundation as against strong math skills.
So I was just wondering, is buying Schweser Qbank at this point really worth it?
Or taking three timed sample tests ($80) and two full-length mock tests ($100) will prepare one in a much better way?
Of course, the bad part is you can not save CFA exams for revision or take them topicwise.
Perhaps, I might have to figure a way to do that.

Hi Anny,
I would rather buy the 2 full-lengh mock tests over Q-bank. I’m currently using Stalla right now and the questions are the same way, more math intensive, which is good because it really helps you to fully understand what you are doing but at the same time you are right the test is more conceptual, so it would be more beneficial to get in the habit of looking at and answering questions more like the actual exam.
Someone had an idea of taking screen shots (Ctrl + Printscreen) and pasting them into paintbrush for each question so they can print them out afterwards. I’m prob going to do that, sounds like a good idea.

one prob with print-screen could be you can not keep pace with timed test and tests offered by cfai are timed i guess.
 
It is my understanding that when you pay for the sample and/or mock exams, that you will not have the ability to hit (ctrl + printscreen). But on the other hand, I have heard that there are programs that can overwrite this (although that would be a violation of your code of ethics).
 
doing almost all the questions in the schweser question bank was the best choice I made…
 
Of course, you can always take your video camera and video tape the computer screen. Or you can get into a study group and have different people write down certain parts of the exam.
 
I think it’s against my code of ethics to charge me $100 for a test that I can never see or study again. How messed up is that deal? Pay per view is cheaper lol

questionbank is really very helpful
its still not very late
