For those of you using Schweser, how many questions have you guys gone through? And is there a correlation between the number of qbank problems completed to success on the actual exam?
Obviously, no matter how many problems someone goes through, if they aren’t doing well on them or taking away any tips, then it’s kinda pointless. I’m just curious to know the range everyone is doing.. I’m at 50% complete or about 2100… getting roughly 75% correct.
 
75% is pretty good. How’re you doing on the CFA EOCs? If you’re taking the exam thsi weekend I would suggest getting a few mocks in too.
 
I’m at 61% qbank with 80% avg. Done 6 mocks (5 schweser and 1 CFAI free) with 70% avg (early mocks dragged my score down a bit). Have hit up most of the CFAI EOC questions, but have been going back through. Will take one more Schweser mock tomorrow and the rest of the week is questions and review.
 
I took the CFAI Mock last week and got 65%. I’ve done a few Schweser mocks and am getting about 66%. I would like to get the mock score to at least 70% prior to the big day (I am taking the exam this weekend). I’ve got 1 mock left and plan on doing it tomorrow. Hopefully taking this week off from work will benefit me a little bit…
 
Just make sure your reviewed the big concepts that are tripping you up on the mocks so far. Those scores are definitely still in the game so no need to worry. Where are you getting killed the most? For me it was FRA (so cliche) and Econ…so I’ve been hitting that up pretty hard the last two days.
 
Yeah, I’m in the same boat regarding FRA and Econ. There have been some pretty significant improvements over the last few weeks and I’ve made a schedule that has been my right-hand-man. Going through all of the EOC from the CFA books is this week. I’ve been reading the ethics from the CFA books (kinda dry) and nailing Qbank pretty hard. I plan on making flash cards to get all the formulas/concepts i’m struggling with down.
 
I’ve done roughly 50-60% of the questons (i accidently deleted 1,000 Qs worth of tests, so hard to pin point). My average is 75% with a 90% on ethics lol.

nice work on ethics…that has been my goal for the past few weeks, to make sure i didnt ignore ethics….
Here’s my reasoning…the actual test is either as difficult, or easier than the mocks…ethics being a HIGH % of the exam with a small amount of material would lend one to believe that the questions get vert detailed, but judging by the mocks they dont.
With 36 questions on the exam…you know that basically every topic WILL be on the exam…so it makes sense to hit it hard
 
anyone struggling with ethics? I’ve spent a lot of time memorizing all of the standards and as many detail as possible but for some reason still struggling to apply them. I did extremely well in the CFA EOC but have not faired well on the mock exams. For the most part i’m getting between 11-13 but my goal is at least 15 since econ and fra are typically my weakest areas.
 
i would take a few hours and just burn through as many problems as you can on medium and advanced on qbank…
my schweser mock scores avg about 70 but im avg 14 out of 18 on ethics…i dont know if that should make me feel good or bad!
 
I am hitting a 90% avg on Schweser qbank ethics…still need some work on Econ and FRA…I also surprisingly missed a few easy quant questions on stats (more like wasn’t paying attention)…but I’m going to revisit those tomorrow.
 
Things getting tricky, have to somehow keep all formula in mind…
