Wondering if you could help me out on this question that I seem to be missing something obvious on here:

And the question that I am not sure of is 2:
The answer is C and I was under the impression that it is B (Market Val - Amortized Cost). But considering last year’s OCI unrealiazed gains, then B should be wrong. But I still dont get how we have come down to a loss in year three.
Please could you guys help out on this one? Please let me know if you cant see the pictures and I’ll try again.
