the anaylst determines that the t-stat is 7.72 and that the correlation coeffiient is not significant (using 95% confidence). is this correcT?
how do they know what “n” is?

The last sentence of the data says, “The regression was based on five observations.” The analyst is not correct.

No worries. All of us have gone through some of those practice questions that we miss, then look back at it and say, “OMG, That was so obvious, such an easy question! I can’t believe I overlooked that!”
This happens to me at least once every day while studying.
