Schweser trains you to be a good analyst?

What are your thoughts? Do the products Schweser, Stalla, and other providers get you ready to pass the exam, or do their study materials also teach you what you need to know to become a good and knowledgeable Wall Street analyst?

I was just thinking about it as I go through my Schweser notes.
 
In my opinion - geared towards passing the exam. That is their product, and quite frankly why would they care if you turn out to be a good or bad analyst. You know what you want (CFA charter) and they cater to that need.

Now on the part of becoming a "good and knowledgeable analyst" no book or course, or even charter can make you that. It is something that comes with experience.

N e how, that's just my opinion.
 
earning the charter does not mean that you will be a (good) analyst, so neither Schweser nor the text books will teach you how to become an analyst
