Schweser worth it for level 3?

2nd time taking it. Used Schweser last year but didn’t put in enough time is why I failed.
2 questions I was hoping for some feedback.
1) Will my 2014 Level 3 Schweser books still be a good supplemental?
2) CFAI level 3 books are so condensed already compared to level 1 and 2, do I even need schweser?

CFAI is 2200 pages and Schweser 1200….Big difference.
If you haven’t started CFAI you’re almost outta time to get that going. Unless you’ve got a ton of time to put towards it.

Yes, use Schweser as a supplement and know it cold.

A lot of the material is qualitative, you should be able to knock out both by June. IMO

2015 to 2014 changes are minor enough that the 2014 Schweser should definitely get you through

Spend the few hundred bucks…and get the new Schweser. I personally wouldn’t invest hundreds of hours, with the hope that it would be OK. Too much time to risk for 300 bucks.

+1 Agree totally. Don’t be cheap when you put 300 hours of your life on the line.
