Anyone else having SchweserPro CD tech. problems

I installed it once on to my laptop and used it only once.

The second time i went to use it gave me an error messege stating that I've exceeded the max. installation attempts

What the F*ck, I only installed it once and used it once

Is this another scam/rip-off to get another $249/- out of me

Anyone else had this problem?

How do u get back into the Q-bank?

It's the second person whor reports this problem. I haven't installed my CD yet, but I am already getting worried. Seriously, WTF... is anyone else having this problem?

and the tech support can't seem to resolve it ...... how wonderful

just what i expect for $249/-

nothing but headaches and endless hrs on the phone to help them resovle the tech issuess that they should have profficiency as tech support dept. - right guess again

anyother place i can get Q - banks that's comparable to Schewser so i don't have to put up with this hassele

PS: lev- let me know if u have same issues after u install it; try to do a quiz or two, close it and come back and see if u can use it after a day or so (SchweserPro CD that is)

I have the same problem too.

Schweser - you are a CFA course study provider. Meaning you know @#$%& about developing a software licensing solution - so don't try. If you do, you will piss off so many of your customers.

I also bought schweser CD. It had some tech. problems and so i reported the problem. They were not able to resolve it and therefore gave me online access.

Hey there,

I had the same problem about a month ago. I installed the program on my home computer and everything was fine. When I tried to do the same on my work computer, it gave me an error message.

When I called tech support, they told me to install a patch. Once I did, I was able to install the program at work. I'm not sure if this will help you out but it's worth a try. Here's the link to the patch:

I have the CD & online version of the schweserPro. If you have bougth the CD version for an extra $25 you will get online version. I highly suggest that you purchase the online as well. You can access it from any PC and you do not need to manually update or download the new questions as you usually do with the CD.

Hassel free, for an extra $25.
