Shipping route of your print books, Source to Destination?

Hello fellow candidates,
Newly register, glad to be part of this community.
Luckily, my books shipped from Hong Kong before the protest began. There’s international tariff since it went, Hong Kong to Anchorage Alaska, Louisville Kentucky then Mississauga, ON, Canada before local dispatch. Didn’t had any tariff previously when print books was part of registration, it took 4 days (UPS Asia).
Curious to know what publishers/shippers the Institute use globally. Can you post route, or simply source/destination country and delivery time?

Thanks for the response. I have contacted the CFAI and they agreed to refund the import fees.

As far as your request to separate the eBook and the print curriculum, we are unable to do so. The eBook is bundled with registration and is available to you at no extra charge. The way we have built the new fee structure, the $150 charge for the eBook is actually built into the exam registration fee. It is shown as a line item for tax purposes only. Although you will not be able to remove it from your order, you are not required to download any software or to activate the eBook.
The change in our pricing structure has enabled us to offer our six volume print curriculum, which spans all topic areas for a given level, for about the same price as an average university text book. Because of the high costs to publish, print, and ship our six volume sets of curriculum, we are unable to discount the print books further.
This change helped to simplify our CFA Program pricing structure. It has also enabled the development and deployment of a wider variety of study tools for candidates which are bundled with registration. The additional study tools include:

• Online topic-based practice tests and mock exams. This improved product replaces the Sample Exams (formerly $40 each) and will be made available free to candidates through our website. Anticipated availability is November 2013.
• A study planner that will help candidates assess the viability of their study plans and to stay on track with their progress toward exam day. Anticipated availability is November 2013. On launch, candidates will be able to account for the readings they have already completed and create a plan to complete their remaining readings before exam day.
• Apple and Android apps for convenient access to study tools. Anticipated availability is spring 2014.

What our dear leaders fail to point out is that back before this change, the print curriculum was included in the exam fee and you just had to pay the nominal $20 shipping fee.
When I registered for L2 back before this changed it was $650 for the exam and print books, + $20 shipping. The new structure, the fee is $630 and you just get the ebook. + another $170 if you want the print books. No matter how CFAI spins it, you’re paying more and getting less now.
