I would welcome peoples advice on the following: I'm currently looking to get into equity research in London.
I am trying to figure out what are the advantages and disadvantges of working at small independant research boutiques and investment banks such as Evolution seccurities, Teather and Greenwood, Numis securitesm, etc compared to a top ten investment bank.
Will the work culture differ? Will lifestyle be better? Will pay be comparable?
I'm also wondering whether it will be possible to move to a top ten i-bank say one or two years down the line.
