For someone who graduated with a Chemistry degree and currently preparing for the CFA level 1 exam this December, it has been a strenuous task seeking employment in the financial industry.
So I finally landed an interview for a securities analyst position last week for a reputable company. But then I received a call today from the recruiter stating that the hiring manager will be out for this week and next week, which means I have to wait until the week of Sept. 24 to conduct the interview. Is this a normal situation? Are they still interested? Are they not worried that I may find a different position? any insight would be greatly appreciated
