I took the level II exam in June 2015. Now is 2 hours before the exam result.
Looking back, it was not easy for me to prepare for the exam. A lot of things happened last year and I was sort of burn out. Got sick several times from March to June. But I have done my best and I do not have any regrets.
I do not know what the result will be since I almost forget everything. I even forgot my feelings about the exam.
Need to call an end to my CFA jouirney if I fail this time.
It is sad, but, this is it.

Hi Jennie,
I don´t think that you should think like that. As you know taking a CFA exam is not an easy decision. I am talking with you and I don´t know if I will pass or not ( I´m 85% that I´ll re take it) as I did not prepare well. What i want to say is keep fighting until you reach your goal

Did you pass? I think you should write again.
I finally passed this year and it is my 7th time writing. I studied each year 400 hours + but I am not able to memorize anything.
I plan to write LEVEL 3 at least 7 times as well. But, don’t give up.

7 times already? And willing to take another 7? Thinking about the numbers makes me crazy. I would probably give up after 2 failed attempts. I respect your determination.

May I ask how old you are?

I am 34. I did my first CFA exam when I was 20 years old, after I did a finance diploma at a college in a rural town. The school only had 23 students and the program was not very good so a lot of the CFA material I had never seen before in my life.

So no matter what, do not give up your dreams.
I own a Mcdonald franchise in the city now, but would like my CFA designation so that I can file my taxes without paying the accountant.

Damn. 7 times. Congrats on passing but to me, it seems like such a waste of time. And I don’t think you need the charter to do your taxes?

Is this a joke?

So the reason you’re suffering for hundreds of hours is to save on tax filing money?
Good call

IamM has to be joking, unless he plans on major international expansion (multinational ops). Even then all he would need is one chapter of FRA.

I know a guy who went to law school so that he can represent himself in court. He told me he was going to court so frequently that he thought getting a law degree will save him money, go figure.
