So why are you taking the CFA?

i want to go to business school after a couple of years, but i'm more interested in getting the CFA now, partially because i think CFA and experience will get me into a better business school

i agree that the hardest part about business school is getting in, i imagine completing an MBA will be easier than it was to complete my undergrad degree
 
FO looking for a pay-bump, some dang respect, and the feeling of accomplishment(after beating myself silly over many years)
 
I would be the masochist type, took it just for the fun of it because I was bored. Got into finance 3 months ago but now trying to get out, not interesting enough for me. You'll hardly ever apply all the interesting things you learned from CFA. Although the CFA might be helpful in getting me into a bschool later.
 
got MBA last month (top 20) and want to start a hedge fund in 5 years. 29 male, looking for buy side post for next 5 years, then leveraging good b school connects i have to start long short fund. CFA is a must in the field. if i fail, it will only make me stronger. i wont give up
 
I'd like to note the violation here... CFA in front of their names?! Report them!

i'm trying to meet a husband on AF. ;)

i'm addicted to anything that challenges my intellect, especially standardized tests. i was bored and i feel like i'm too young for business school. I'd like to have more work experience, so cfa it is.

I'm doing it for the expensive wine, the beautiful women and the purest coc@ine.
 
I am in Corporate Finance and want to seperate myself from everyone else...this is the second step to my MBA, CFA, CPA combo.
