OK I'm a Schweser guy but I am looking at maybe using Stalla instead or as well. I can't figure out their product. All I really want is study notes and they seem to by wanting to push classroom instruction, CDROM crap, and all this other stuff.

What are others opinions about Stalla?

I used the live classes and liked them. If you're just using the notes, I would think Schwesser would be fine. I'm told that Stalla goes a little more into the theory behind the LOSs, so if you like understanding concepts so that you can rederive them if necessary, Stalla is maybe better than Schwesser, which may be better for people who already get the basics and need to drill more on the memorization part. I haven't used Schwesser, but I did glance briefly at a friend's Schwesser notes and what I saw seemed to be consistent with what I said above.

im not sure if you can just buy the notes... they sell a system which is notes lectures( either in class or cd rom or internet) along with thier passmaster software...

Very strange...why would you mess with what's working so far?

Buying the note only is possible. Their website can help you. Otherwise, just call them.

stalla sucks, it's too straight forward. CFA institute questions are nothing near straight forward. if you'd like check out the upcoming free workshop. I would stick with schweser and cfa assigned readings. the back of the book questions are beyond easy... and they don't have their colors coordinated correctly! (L2 stall book is green, L3 is red)

There are Stalla notes on ebay for less than 50 dollars. Worth buying if only for the extra practices. I haven't listed mine yet but I plan to ..
