I just finished Reading 9 and I am having trouble wrapping my head around the fact that you can have different standard errors for different variables within the same regression. For instance, you can have a standard error for the intercept coefficient that is different from the standard error for the slope coefficient. The formula given to calculate the standard error involves both variables of the regression. Can someone please set me straight before I pull out all of my hair? Thanks!
