Steady state equilibrium expansion, is it required

hey guys, there are bunch steady equilibriums expansion equation in the book, like this:

sy=[(θ/(1−α)+δ+n]k
are they required? do we need to understand/remember this?

The LOS says that you have to compare the growth theories, not that you have to do computations with all those ugly formulae.
If I were studying for the Level II exam, I wouldn’t bother to remember them. That’s not advice, that’s just what I’d do. And I’d be comfortable doing so.
