For those of you who have taken the exam; I'm wondering if the questions and / or answer choices give the name of the category. Or will the only give the letter and subset letter / number for each of the 7 standards.

ie. question: What is standard I A?

ie. answer choices: Which of the following standards does this violate?
a) Stnd. I B
b) Stnd II A
etc...

or will they actually state: Professionalism / Knowledge of the Law instead of I A?

Thanks!!!

I don't expect the exam questions to be of that kind... if then, we'll end up memorizing those readings..

By the way, I also intend to take the Dec 06 exam.

No wonder previous exam-takers didn't reply to this inquiry. Else, they'll breach the last standard. Haha! Happy reviewing!! =)

There are no questions of that type (FYI I've passed levels 1 and 2, waiting on 3).

The most common way that they test ethics is to give a small case study and then ask multiple choice questions based on the case. They usually refer to specific actions/events within the case and ask if they were or were not in compliance with standards. Sometimes they make it more complicated by combining two actions with answer choices like:

a) John Doe was in compliance with respect to actions A and B
b) John Doe was not in compliance with respect to either action A or B
c) John Doe was in compliance with respect to action A but not action B
d) John Doe was in compliance with respect to action B but not action A

I can't recall them ever requiring you to remember the code by number only. Usually they'll give you the number and title of each section of the code when they refer to it.

Thanks alot. I didn't think they were going to ask us memorize the code #s / letters but wanted to be fairly sure.
