What do future CFAs do to refocus after interest starts waning in the middle of a study session.

Upon the recommendation of a felloe poster I tried walking over to the nearest mirror and speaking to my self in a Terminator accent and cursing my self out for being a CFA girly maan. It works..sometimes!

Any recos?

The easiest way is to develop a schedule and keep to it. Studying is always the last thing you want to do, especially after long day/week of work. Subtle mental tricks can help too, like when you think about studying, don't think "crap I'm only on SS3, this stucks", think about how much little you have to read after you get that SS down. Also thinking about the career you will have after finsihing the CFA is a good montivator, if money montivation or one-upmanship is your thing use those. Also a healthy fear of failure and worse yet the inconvience of having to repeat and potential psychological ramifications of a fail on moral, will also spur you on.
