Hi,

I am taking the L1 exam in December and am setting my schedule now. I'm going to post it below because I wanted to see if anyone would like to follow the same schedule and work together through the sections. I figure we can use this forum and/or set up a chat room to have regular meetings. Let me know if anyone is interested. Also, I am in Richmond, VA so if anyone lives near me and would like to get together in person that would be great as well. Thanks and let me know if you are interested.

Now - 8/11: Quantitative Methods and Econ
8/12 - 8/18: Econ
8/19 - 9/15: FSA
9/16 - 9/22: Corporate Finance
9/23 - 9/29: Equity Investments
9/30 - 10/6: Fixed Income
10/7 - 10/13: Derivatives
10/14 - 10/20: Alt. Investments and PM
10/21 - 10/27: Catch-up (if needed)
10/28 - 11/30: Review and practice exams.

Throughout this time I will be reading and reviewing Ethics and GIPS. So, if anyone out there would like to work together to follow this schedule and crush the December exam contact me: andy <dot> krukiel <at> gmail <dot> com.

FYI I'm using the following materials:
2006 CFAI Books
2007 Schweser Video and Audio Series
2007 Schweser Pro Qbank.

I'll probably buy the Schweser book 6 too.

Contact Dr. David E. Upton of VCU and he can help you in getting touch with people taking the CFA in the Richmond area. He helped us create study grps for the June exam.
