Does any know if the 2005 Study Guide still good for the Dec exam?

Hi all

I have CFA 2007 notes as well as Schweiser notes ..
which ones better.. I mean CFA notes seems to detailed and lengthy.
Any people from India preparing for dec exam.
What abt the CFA step of not allowing Indians to give the exam.
Any update on that
