Study Materials - Schweser Essential vs Wiley Self Study Course

Hey guys,
I’m taking Level 1 this June but need help regarding which study program to use. I just decided I want to take it and I understand this is not the ideal time to start studying.
I am taking classes right now at University but the difficulty of these classes and hours aren’t too bad. I think I can conservatively put in 15-20 hours a week.
While videos are nice and all, I don’t think I have the time to watch all of them and don’t think I learn the best from them anyway. I prefer just reading and doing practice questions/practice tests.
Which one would be better for just the notes and practice questions? Schweser Essential Package or Wiley Self Study Course?
I was thinking about going with Wiley as it is slightly cheaper and they also offer a student discount, but if Schweser is materially better than I’ll go with them. I just want the one that has the most detailed and substantive notes and the more difficult practice problems.
Would love to hear your thoughts and opinions. Thank you in advance!

I would go for Schweser.
Anyway I would skip reading the notes as much as you can! Just consult the notes when you don’t get a question. I would focus on one category of questions per session and make sure you master it before you stop.

I couldn’t disagree with Nico more about skipping the reading. You must read at least the third party notes. I haven’t seen Wiley’s material so I can’t comment on which one you would find better.
That said, yes, practice problems and mock exams are absolutely essential. Don’t worry on the timing by the way, if you’re doing 20 hours a week from now until June that should be enough time provided you have at least some background in finance/economics/accounting etc.
