study notes vs flash card

for those people using schweser, does the flashcard contain all the materials covered in the notes? if now what kinds of xtra materials does the study notes have?
 
I can't answer this directly, since I only own the materials and not the flashcards. But I'm sure its safe to assume that the flashcards are more of a study complement than something to use to pass the entire exam. Again, I could be wrong, but there is a lot of material packed into the study notes. I wouldn't begin to imagine all of it being transferred into flash cards. Hope that helped.
 
The notes are more comprehensive. I buttressed the flashcards with my own notes as I went along....so my final month review will be based mostly on the flash cards. In my opinion that are a good investment.

I also have the Stalla notes and they are failry poor. They really skip over a lot of the learning objectives.
 
i already have some other study notes including analyst notes, exammatrix sharp notes, and passpro study notes. however, i felt like schweser has to be so popular for a reason. so i was thinking if i should get the schweser flash cards of the study notes to complement what i already have. but then yesterday i won four hundred buks at a casino and felt like wasting some money. i'll buy the schweser study notes for sure but i'm wondering if it's worth it to pay an extra $60 for the flash card. so now i'm wondering how you feel about the wording on teh flashcards. like when i read over the study notes it feel so long and many of it leaking out of my brain. i can imagine a immediate review from an abridge version would help giving me the big picture of what i just read. would you agree with me?
 
also, i've already bought the secret sauce from schweser. i found it very helpful in way that i use it to review everything i've learnt about CFA so far once a week so i don't forget anything. would you think buying a flashcard be redundant if i already have the secret sauce?
 
Just depends on where you are reading the materials� flash cards are nice if you are taking the train to work
