Guys. which textbooks are the most important to buy from the list of AIMR recommended textbooks. Is it critical to get also solutions manuals for those books?

Thanks

hey dbc

i am looking at the list of books. the only one that sounds like ethics is "standards of practice handbook". is this the only ethics book?

Yes standards of practice hand book. You are better of buying the Schwesser notes for Level I for the rest of the material

hey. i am debating between the silver and the epass package. i think the epass would be better since it has all that online stuff, test and answers. do you know what is included in the flashcards cause that seems to be the only difference between the two packages.

thanks

epass is a total waste. It has both Schweser Pro and Schweser online. Schweser Pro is nothing but the offline version of Schweser online.

I think you should go for the silver package.

We never plan to fail, but only fail to plan !

All you need are the notes and the mocks. Everything else is not needed. The questions at the end of the chapters are all you need for practice questions until 1 month before. Do at least 6 3 hour practice exams. I would also buy one or two online exams right before the exam when they come available. They are 29$ each.

You don't need SchweserPro (the cd). Get the online to go with the study notes though, it was very helpful in practicing areas that were giving me trouble. You can zero in on specific LOS and answer questions about each if you want. Also, if you ever travel, it's nice b/c you can log on from any computer with web access to your own account and pick up where you left off. If I passed in June this will be good advice, if I didn't, don't listen to me.
