Study Time

Hello all,
This is my first post. I just finished my L2 CFA exam and was wondering is 4 months enough time to study for the WHOLE FRM exam? Im asking because this is the last year that you will be able to take the whole exam in one shot. Next year it will be switching to a 2 exam format. Or should i just do L1 of the FRM exam in november?

I have heard about 400 hours needed for the FULL and 250 or so for the first Level but when they quote this suggested time, I believe they are quoting it to the general public unlike L2 candidates. So the burden might be less ….
I just took L2 as well and am now researching the same issues….August 31 is the deadline but got to kick off the studying before then for sure.
