Study Tips For CFA Candidate Level One

Hi guys,I recently registered for the CFA level 1 in December coming and I have a degree in Economics and Math.I would like know what are the possible study tips or advice you can give in terms of preparing for the exam?I been looking at Kaplan Scheweser study packages and I not sure which one to buy.

For L1, basic Schweser package is good enough.
read books, do practice problems, take exam, grab a bottle, chug liberally
