According to the CFAInstitute and Schweser, the supply elasticity of a non-renewable resource supposedly is perfectly elastic (horizontal). To my tiny mind, this defies all logic. Shouldn’t the supply elasticity be inelastic (vertical) like the supply curve for oil?
