Surprise! I got my CFA Jun�10 L2 books today!!!

I've registered for the Jun�10 L2 exam on 28th Jun. To my surprise, within three days I got my CFA Jun�10 L2 books.

I was told by Schweser and Stalla guys that CFA Jun�10 L2 books are yet to publish, as such, Schweser & Stalla materials will only be released around Oct or Nov �09.
 
I second what Milos said. At least wait until sometime in September. I feel like a bear that will inevitably return to hibernation in my cave away from anything that remotely resembles a social life.
 
I surprised to learn the CFAI has completed the publishing of the L-2 material so quick. I was expecting the L-2 material to be available sometime in October. Thanks for the post!
 
There were probably only a few, if any, modifications to the June '09 material. There's only so many new topics and theories the institute can dream up in a year.
 
I got mine on saturday (Aug 1st) !

I dont know what to do with it yet :). I still opened it.

As headsup to you all, it is around 3000 pages of material.
 
Mine was delivered in the UK on Friday after I registered on the night of the results.

Same here, registered on sunday and the books haven't been shipped as of today!
 
Ordered on Friday Night (EST). Now the books are at Cologne. THat's so far from Kuala Lumpur. Probably will be arriving the day after tomorrow.
 
...I am no longer finding this convenient, I registered since the 30th, as I write this, the books have not been shipped!

hahaha - I did something similar when I signed up for the past June exam. I called up CFAI and they resent the books. I later found out that when the original books got delived, they were also delivered with some other random stuff my parents ordered. So they ended up putting the CFA books in the corner of the garage. lol. They sat there for a solid month.

Whatever - I passed with only using Schweser - didn't need the CFAI books anyways. lol
