Tables of t-distrubution and z in the exam

could you please tell me if they will provide us with
1-table of the student's t-distribution
2- table of F-distribution
.......etc

you are supposed to memorize the t-table; the f-table will be provided.

seriously, though, none of this junk was on the LI exam in June. Doesn't mean it won't appear in December.
 
i believe it says that you don't have to memorize any of this @#$%&, they will provide the information in the question if its needed.

look, son, if you don't have what it takes to be a CFA Charterholder, then quit. But if you are not a quitter and want that Charter - memorize, memorize, and memorize. Just not t-table, though.
 
Don't need to memorize the table... it was a funny joke though, to say that you needed to. Didn't sound funny if you thought it was serious.

Memorizing a few key values of Z will help though.

This june there was no table, and no need for it. I've heard that they provide it though, presumably for when there are questions that need it.
 
You mean those 2 weeks I spent memorizing the Z and T tables were all for not ? :P

Seriously, they have had questions, from what I've seen here in other posts before, that you needed to look things up and they provided an exerpt from the table. Memorize key values 1.68, 1.96, 2.58. Know C's Inequality too.
 
Z-table is where you study so much you end up catching z's....

T-table is like Z-table but for smaller z's. ;-)
 
A little on the rusty side, but looking over the L2 Study Guide, I see that there is usually decent review. How is everyone coping with the wait... now that it's into July, I'm getting a minor bit apprehensive.
 
I can't believe we have to wait another 3 weeks or so to get the results. It seems like so long ago that we took the test...definitely more than just a month. I don't think about the exam too much anymore, but when I do, I get a little apprehensive too about not passing and having to sit again in Dec. Hope it doesn't come to that...

i thought they are comming out july 17?
