I don't know if the morning and afternoon sessions are given in the same order to everyone, but i almost $hit a brick when I opened the afternoon seesion and started through. I thought the morning was cake, and my spirits were high... i'm so nervous now after those last three hours.

Yeah, I felt so too. Didn't feel very nice at the start of the afternoon session. Still not very confident if I did okay on it. Morning session made me really high, which is bad.

I wish the morning session would have been more difficult and the afternoon session easier. That way, I can come back home smiling.

well. i think that every one of the regulars that post here are above average candidates. and i feel better now that i wasn't the only one who found the pm session to be difficult. if it was hard for the above average taker. joe "i studied 2 weeks" found it even harder..

i am in complete agreement that the pm session was harder. i felt like crap afterwards and am having serious doubts. yeesh.

On the ride home I was thinking about that afternoon nonsense... and I came to the conclusion:

The morning test was the CFAI online version 1 - easy (AF ave score mid high 80s)
The afternoon test was the CFAI online version 3 - a pain in the ass (AF ave score 60 - 70s).

If you took those two mocks and your overall average was a pass then I think you are in good shape here.

... unless you forgot to bubble in your candidate number. I heard that if you don't do that they shred that scantron and record a 0 for that session.

slouiscar, you should be ashamed of yourself to pick on banni like that...

now, how about a post-exam pina colada (sp?) song.

Although I don't post very often, I've been studying since last October and feel the same as most of you about the exam...AM easy, PM hard. I would put myself in the "serious candidate" category.

After the proctor said to put our pencils down after the PM session i noticed I bubbled my first name incorrectly, with two letters bubbled in the same column on the scantron. The row proctor said there is nothing she could do. Sloiscar, suffice it to say your post scared the ish out of me...even though the issue was my first name, not my candidate number

You guys think I'm screwed???

No it won't really matter. We use scantrons in our university all the time and whenever a student does that, the computer just puts a "*" instead of that letter. As long as they can figure out who it is, it wont matter. since your last name is good and almost the entire first name too, you will be fine.

yeah il, i know i've posted this a couple times already, but that pm section...dang. so much harder. hopefully we all nailed that am so well we could float by w/ a 60 or better. congrats on the cavs by the way...enjoy. (can't believe i just said that)

i'm super worried. that PM session really killed any confidence that i might have had. i wont be surprised one bit if i get the big F :(

HA, no worries... i would hope and pray that they use your name to kind of back up the candidate number and vice versa if the scantron read something wrong. i have never really been a nervous person, but as the instructions were being read for the 2nd half, i almost had a little panic attack thinking to myself good god, what if my test doesn't even get graded? i shook it off and got it together a few minutes in, but what is to be will be... i hope they figure out who i am b/c i think i nailed that 1st half.

I'm one who thought the afternoon was better then the morning... I felt like a machine going through the afternoon FSA, it was like it was never ending.... As for the overall exam, felt good leaving yesterday and my passing confidence seems to be going down by the hour, keep thinking of questions that could have gone either way.

agree with you guys. i finished the morning session (#6666) half hour before the end, but i almost ran out of the time in the afternoon session (#7777). the economics was quite different from what i saw before and a lot of yesyes yesno noyes nono......

First time I am looking at the phorum again after a week of going out and enjoying my study free time - morning was much better for me too although I am quite annoyed with myself for having messed up some of the questions in the afternoon session I actually DID know! Had a really tough time the first few days trying to relax as whenever I tried to I remembered some questions and realized what I did wrong...trying to forget it now until results come out...
