I wonder if this year “after 9am” means “way after 9am”. The wait was really bad for me last year.

I don’t think I’ve ever checked my spam folder more than on January 22nd of this year. Longest morning of my life.

Yeah I have a coworker who will wait until late at night to check. There’s no way I can do that. I will be hitting F5 on gmail every 20 seconds starting at 9:01 AM, even though refreshing a gmail page is pointless.

To make my wait more enjoyable, two weeks ago I started on a new diet.
I have a certain target amount of weight I want to lose by the day the exam results are released. If I find out I failed, at least I’ll be happy that I met my weight target (which I am doing well on right now). If I passed, I’ll have a double celebration.
This way I have something to look forward to either way, as opposed to just sitting on the edge all the time.
 
Last year my results arrived somewhere between 09:45 - 09:50. (EST)
This year the flight for my holdiay takes off at 09:30 23rd July, so….
Either my best holiday ever or my worst, and some small possibilty of being foricbly removed from the plane depending the timing and actual result.
 
Last year my L2 result came an agonizing 3 hrs after 9amET. I actually set up an email filter to forward to one cell phone if I passed, another cell phone with a different ring if I failed, so I didn’t have to continuously watch my email. Unfortunately, the wrong phone rang.
