Can you guys please share what really happened after the result was recieved. It would be nice to know what you did and how you did it, that's if you remember, after a month long anxiety, anticipation and planning.

Apart from that, i guess LI candidates should do a head count as the real business commence now for the dec battle. Share your strategy and problems as we match towards the lovely day ahead.

Can i also plead to our graduating LI members to occasionally check posts on LI, your inputs will be appreciated.

Lurker here. It was kind of anti-climatic for me. I was pleased that I passed, but then I realized that I would have to work a lot harder for L2 than I did for L1. I just read the CFAI books and did a couple of Schweser exams. I didn't do any practice questions other than the two sample exams. I know I'm going to have to work a lot harder than that in order to pass L2. Part of me was oddly hoping I would fail so that it would give me a kick in the a$$. But of course the majority of me was still happy.

At noon, I got an email from my gf that she wanted to look at a house in Markham. So last night, we went up there to have a look and signed the papers at 10pm (new development). No bar, not even a dinner (unless you call street meat from a hot dog vendor a dinner outing).

Definitely not a typical day. Today, I have to make a slight change to my resume. :)

I was pretty happy all day. I went out with my wife and little guy for a little dinner and then went to see Transformers - pretty basic celebration - but the glow hasn't worn off!

If I wasn't a married dad, I'd probably have a hangover right now instead!

(O.T. SteveInToronto: Congrats on the new house. We just moved into a new house in Richmond Hill. Markham is very nice!)

Thanks ajb.

The place is at Woodbine & Major Mack. A little farther north than what I would have wanted. But those new HOV lanes northbound on the 404 are great! Hopefully the DVP will get some before the house closes in October '08. Only took me 25 min from downtown to the site at 6pm.

Played video game, went to take a piss, and played again till now xD

If the results were released on a Friday it would have been a completely different story.

I got a huge confidence booster while a work then went out for some beers afterwards.

I immediately began to think about styding for L2 which was not cool.

Earnings season...crazy busy. Didn't even know results were out until a coworker told me. After seeing I passed, went back to the grind. Got home late, had a beer, and watched the Yankees game. Like ajb, if I weren't a dad, I too would have gone crazy, running through the streets naked with "yes! oh yes!" written across my ass with black charcoal.

last i saw, yankees kicked but... however i am a boston fan..

went to dinner had a couple beers, which is pretty out of the ordinary for middle of the week for me... quite excited

well, I definetly felt like I accomplished something. I was feeling a bit on top of the world yesterday. I don't think anything could have stopped my "day". A rude colleague, jerk boss, a bad day or anything could have gotten to me..I was like "bring it on". Today I'm more down to earth, realizing that I'm only 1/3rd there in terms of passing, and 4 years of experience still lacking, so the road is still long. I can't imagine what it'll feel like once I am awarded the CFA Charter though. I think that'll definetly be the ultimate experience, when I get confirmation that I will be awarded the Charter. I know a IM in an office who has his certificate hung on a wall. I can't wait for mine to be on my wall.
