These Constructed Responses Appear All or Nothing

It feels like if you know the topic, you score 20/20. Huge score. If you don’t, you end up with a 6/20, and a couple of those can be crippling. Is there more partial credit than I think? Or are there ever more potential answers than the CFAI guideline answers for these past morning sessions they publish; there have been times where they only give one answer but if you defend your own answer, I wonder if it can be acceptable.

I think the best option is to show our work and hope we gets all the partial points. I have tried a lot of return calculations in PWM, and have never been able to match the guideline result.

Private Wealth Management return calcs are exactly what I’m referring to, it appears that CFAI uses different inputs each time and is very inconsistent

Clip - do you have a couple of specific examples that you are referring to for the private wealth return calcs (with the inconsistency of the inputs)?
