Just did the morning session for this year’s mock exam for level 3 and I have a few questions.
1) I found the mock exam to be easier than level 1 or 2. I scored 80% on the morning portion. Do we still think the minimum passing score for exam 3 still in the 65%-70% range for the multiple choice portion or is it assumed higher for level 3?
2) I took a quick look at the afternoon portion of the mock exam and it is another set of vignettes and multiple choice questions. On exam day though, isn’t it the case that one session (morning or afternoon) is essay and one session is vignette style multiple choice? Do we know which session is which in advance?
Thanks

1) No one knows what the MPS is or ever has been of course. But, it is assumed to be in the range of 65-70% for L3…just like the others. I believe that your score is aggregated in that they have an overall MPS…not one for the essay portion and a separate MPS of the multiple choice question. The essays are worth a total of 180 points and the mulitple choice are worth 180 points (3 pts per question) for a total of 360. So perecentages as they would relate to MPS would be a % of 360 pts.
2)The morning session is essay and the afternoon session if 60 multiple choice questions based on vignettes in the same format as L2.
