For those who has done the level to before. Compare level one did you find it longer or shorter.
I am asking because I like to redo the exam again to check for mistakes. I finish the level one exams with 1-1.5 hours to spare.
really appreciate it if ppl can share their experiences

I had about 5 minutes to spare on both the Level I exam and my (failed) Level II exam last year. So, if you had an hour left on Level I, and work quickly, maybe you’d get 1-0.5 hours on the Level II. However, I feel it might be difficult to plow through the voluminous vignettes once more on the second round. Maybe you want to revise your strategy and perhaps spend a few minutes more per vignette and then check the really uncertain ones, which ones these are you decide on your first round and mark them for review. My experience is that, for me, there isn’t much point in doing a secondary review because if I got it wrong the first time, chances are my mind would go blank under stress and I’d start to second-guess myself and definitely bubble in the wrong answer.

Thanks for your answer. Usually I finish most exam half way through the allow time period. If I know the question I answer it, if not I guess and come back to it later. I know I make a lot of silly mistakes, so I need to redo questions. I remember for cfa level 1 I actually went to the washroom for 10 mins, just to clear my mind cause I finish so quickly…
Only time I remember barely finishing a test was for my portfolio management course. The prof was some crazy board person, who is in most of the education pension funds.

I anticipate Level II taking me longer. I’m a pretty fast test writer; finished each part level one in about 1hr 15 mins. Did the 2012 mock yesterday and timed myself. Took me about 1h 45 mins to 2hrs for each half.
